How can I improve my memory of things that happened days and months ago?
I am having problems at work because I can’t remember things that happened days and months ago, specifics on customers, time it took to accomplish tasks, it’s like as soon as it isn’t relevant my brain dumps the information. It’s become a problem and I am constantly apologizing for my "bad" memory. I’m 23 years old, I shouldn’t have this bad of a memory! Are there exercies, supplements or other remedies that are proven to improve memory?
try to keep a note of the things.

Writing things down helps. It’s time consuming, but it does work. I’ve heard of doing that for remembering more of our dreams, too. The more you write down, the more you begin to remember.
I do that a lot, for different things. If I have to keep track of when I did something, and I know I won’t remember, I jot it down on a calendar. Even just using a letter to stand for something, as long as you can remember what the letter stands for!

Bad memory retention seems to be a major problem these days so you are not alone. The best way to better your memory is to start keeping notes of things. Carry a pocket notebook or something. Also, try to recall things in the notebook in your spare time. It takes time and practise but memory can be improved.
